Our Performance Team is the proud name for our dedicated recreational dancers. These dancers are proof that passion and hard work pay off on stage!

We believe that every dancer who loves to perform deserves the highest level of training. That's why our Performance Team members work just as hard as our competitive students and receive the same high-quality instruction. This focused training helps them build the skills and confidence they need to truly shine.

Our Performance Team members have numerous opportunities to share their talent throughout the year. They dance in our two main recitals and participate in many of our performances across the season at various special events in the community.

Many students start their journey with our Ballet/Acro Dance combination class. This foundational training builds strength and technique that prepares dancers for any style they choose to pursue. From there, you can easily add other classes to further your training and develop your personal style.

For  our most dedicated dancers and their families, joining the Allison's  Dance Company (ADC) Competition Team is an incredibly rewarding  experience. Our team members are committed, often training from 5 to over 20 hours a week, and they love every moment of it.

Our competition season runs from January to July,  with events typically taking place on one weekend each month, from  Friday to Sunday. This requires a strong commitment from both dancers  and parents. It’s not uncommon to be up early for a 5:30 a.m. start and  still be at the venue for awards at 10:00 p.m. Our dancers and their  families handle these challenges with a positive attitude, embodying the  true spirit of teamwork.

We  are a tight-knit family that supports each other through every  challenge. We travel together and often stay in hotels for one to two  nights, which strengthens our bond and creates lasting memories. Our  selection process is unique; we don't just evaluate the student, we  ensure that the entire family is the right fit for our collaborative  environment. This approach has fostered a supportive family atmosphere  that is the foundation of our success.

As  one of the leading dance companies on the East Coast, we compete both  locally and, at times, internationally. We hold tryouts for our  competition team throughout the year and look forward to meeting  prospective students who are ready to join our dedicated community.
